About
Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where a few of us kept arguing about which mobile games were actually worth the storage. At some point we figured the notes were good enough to share, so we turned them into a small site. No parent company, no marketing team pulling strings — just people who play too much on the bus.,We pick games the way any curious player would. Something trends, a friend recommends a title, or we stumble on an odd little indie in the store. Then we install it on a couple of different phones and live with it for a while, checking how it holds up over a week rather than a first flashy hour.,Every review talks about the stuff that gets ignored in trailers: how hot the phone gets, whether the controls survive a shaky commute, how much you can tweak in the settings, and whether the game respects your battery. We write about what we felt while playing, warts and all.,If a game bored us, we say so. If it surprised us, we say that too. The goal is simple — help you decide before you download.
