Neon Drift Circuit

Neon Drift Circuit isn't about realism, it's about the drift. You hold a boost as you slide around neon corners, chaining slides to fill a meter that launches you forward. It feels great, and the sense of speed is real once you unlock the faster cars.

There are three control layouts and I tried all of them. Tilt steering felt loose on my commute, but the tap-left-tap-right option was reliable and let me play without a stable surface. There's also an on-screen wheel for people who like more precision. Good that they gave the choice instead of forcing one style.

This is the one game here that ate my battery. Bright effects and a locked high framerate mean the phone gets warm fast. There's a lower graphics preset that helps a bit, but if you're playing this, keep the charger handy.
